Update History

Version 5:

• Since the item Shell Bell was created, it's no longer necessary to keep an Aqua in your party to use the Surf capability. The Shell Bell can be obtained in the Babidi Zone shack from the same person who gave the Surf HM.
  • Note: If you've already collected the Surf HM from him, you'll need to either (i) upgrade your game to V5 or higher AND restart the entire game (OR from a previous save state, if your emulator allows for it), or (ii) try using the item cheat code, which can be found under Tips or Items (note that this method could break your game, so back up your ROM and save file before trying this).
